SLA

Stereolithography (SLA) is a pioneering 3D printing process that uses a laser to solidify photosensitive resin into layered objects. Originating in the 1980s, initially in the automotive industry, it now sees broad use across various sectors, including medical production and dentistry.

The SLA process begins with a thin layer of liquid polymer spread on a platform. A UV laser then draws the model's outline onto the resin, hardening the touched areas. Unhardened resin is reused for future models. Post-printing involves removing support structures and surface finishing.

With our strategic partnership, the Stratasys Neo series of 3D printers, designed for stereolithography (SLA), offer a range of benefits:

Key Features and Benefits:

  • High-Quality Parts: The Neo series is engineered to produce high-quality parts with superior surface quality, accuracy, and detail.
  • Open Resin System: Allows users to utilise any 355 nm hybrid resin chemistry, offering flexibility in material choices.
  • Reduced Finishing Time: Up to 50% reduction in finishing time is possible due to the exceptional layer-to-layer alignment repeatability and dimensional accuracy of the parts.
  • Proven Reliability and Quality Assurance: Designed with state-of-the-art technology and proven components, ensuring reliable and quality production.
  • Expertise at Your Service: Our skilled technicians ensure excellence in every component.
